St. Petersburg, part XII - St. Petersburg metro (ii) - Kirovsky Zavod

One of the things I don't like about travelling as part of a tour group is that you tend to get shepherded around, and you can't really drink in and take in your surroundings and allow your mind to interact with the exterior space. As it is, I have loads of photos of these places whose names I've forgotten and that's rather frustrating. Ksenia is a very whimsical person - she has a schedule she adheres to, more or less, but she will get these sudden ideas - "oh, the next station is Gorkovskaya!" or something like that - and hurry us all down to see random things. She showed us a rather interesting metro station which featured a simply tremendous bronze bust of Lenin. And I can't remember which station this is. Oh wait - quick Google search tells me that this was at KIROVSKY ZAVOD. Good to know. Thanks, Google.

To be continued.
